Roxbury is a township of distinct villages. Succasunna has its split-levels and Horseshoe Lake, Ledgewood its historic core and the Route 10 shops, and Landing sits on Lake Hopatcong. Our walkers drive Route 10, US 46, and I-80 every day, so whether you're near Roxbury Mall or tucked up on Mooney Mountain, we're close by.
Three reasons Roxbury clients pick Pups and Recreation:

Roxbury's park system is one of the best for dogs in western Morris County. These are the routes we use most:
Whether your home is near Horseshoe Lake in Succasunna, off Route 10 in Ledgewood, or down by the lake in Landing, we have a team member who covers your street.

Highly recommend Pups and Recreation! They are reliable and professional. I love their post-walk report cards and pictures they send. And I always know my dog is in good hands!
We were in a last minute pinch and Pups and Recreation were very accommodating. The app is very easy to use and you can leave specific instructions. Their team was always prompt and left photos and an update after each visit. Highly recommend!
Alison, Luigi and their crew went above and beyond to take care of my little zoo. They gave timely, detailed updates from every visit during our vacation, and they really took the time to win over our skeptical, skittish rescue pups.
I can’t recommend Pups & Rec enough! I felt at ease during my vacation knowing my dog was in good hands with them. Anthony took great care of my dog, kept me posted on how she was doing & sent lots of pics.
I'm so glad I was able to find Pups & Recreation! I have been looking for a reputable team of animal lovers to help watch my dog when i'm in need. They were more than accommodating for last minute scheduling and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend their fantastic team!
Could not recommend Pups and Rec more! Alison, Luigi, and their team are incredible! From the first phone consultation and meet and greet, you can tell they have such a love and passion for dogs and they would treat your furry friend like their own! They are so reliable, extremely responsive, leave detailed report cards with the cutest photos, and take such good care of my Guinness on their weekly walks. So grateful for the love and attention they give to Guinness!
Each month we fundraise for one of these great causes and donate what we can to help them save as many lives as possible. We host Walkathons every year on various Holidays where we donate our entire day to one of these causes, with 100% of all proceeds going directly to them. Since 2022 we've raised over $72,000 and have helped hundreds of pets find their furever homes!
