Mount Olive is lake-and-trail country just up I-80 from our Wharton office. Budd Lake and Flanders are each home to nearly 10,000 people, and Mount Olive station, US 46, US 206, and I-80 carry most of the commute. Turkey Brook Park is one of the best dog-friendly parks in western Morris County, and the Columbia Trail starts right here. We know both well.
Three reasons Mount Olive clients pick Pups and Recreation:

Mount Olive has a dedicated dog park, a rail trail, and two state parks nearby. These are the routes we use most:
Whether your home is near Budd Lake, in one of the Flanders communities off Route 206, or over in Netcong, we have a team member who covers your street.

Highly recommend Pups and Recreation! They are reliable and professional. I love their post-walk report cards and pictures they send. And I always know my dog is in good hands!
We were in a last minute pinch and Pups and Recreation were very accommodating. The app is very easy to use and you can leave specific instructions. Their team was always prompt and left photos and an update after each visit. Highly recommend!
Alison, Luigi and their crew went above and beyond to take care of my little zoo. They gave timely, detailed updates from every visit during our vacation, and they really took the time to win over our skeptical, skittish rescue pups.
I can’t recommend Pups & Rec enough! I felt at ease during my vacation knowing my dog was in good hands with them. Anthony took great care of my dog, kept me posted on how she was doing & sent lots of pics.
I'm so glad I was able to find Pups & Recreation! I have been looking for a reputable team of animal lovers to help watch my dog when i'm in need. They were more than accommodating for last minute scheduling and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend their fantastic team!
Could not recommend Pups and Rec more! Alison, Luigi, and their team are incredible! From the first phone consultation and meet and greet, you can tell they have such a love and passion for dogs and they would treat your furry friend like their own! They are so reliable, extremely responsive, leave detailed report cards with the cutest photos, and take such good care of my Guinness on their weekly walks. So grateful for the love and attention they give to Guinness!
Each month we fundraise for one of these great causes and donate what we can to help them save as many lives as possible. We host Walkathons every year on various Holidays where we donate our entire day to one of these causes, with 100% of all proceeds going directly to them. Since 2022 we've raised over $72,000 and have helped hundreds of pets find their furever homes!
