Why Florham Park Families Choose Pups And Recreation

Florham Park is a small borough with big-league schedules. Between BASF's North American headquarters, the Jets' Atlantic Health Training Center, the FDU Florham Campus, and the morning push onto Columbia Turnpike and Route 24, a lot of Florham Park dogs spend the middle of the day waiting for someone to come home. We fill that gap with the same walker faces, the same time slot, and a photo report card after every visit, so you never have to wonder how the day went.

Three reasons Florham Park families pick Pups and Recreation:

  • An ADB Certified Canine Behavior Counselor on Call.

Meredith Kiani holds the Association of Dog Behaviorists' Certified Canine Behavior Counselor credential and is a New Jersey Animal Control Officer. If your Florham Park dog is reactive, anxious, or still settling in after adoption, we don't just walk them, we structure each walk to support behavior progress. Most dog walkers have zero formal behavior training. We have a certified expert on call and a team ready to support that work.
  • We meet you and your dog in person first.

Every new Florham Park client starts with a free meet-and-greet at home. We walk through feeding, leash storage, alarm codes, medications, and emergency contacts, then set up our app so you can book, pay, and get photo and GPS report cards after every visit.
  • No Holiday or Weekend Rates. No Credit Card Fees. Ever.

Many local competitors charge $15–$25 extra for holidays, plus weekend premiums and a 3% credit-card processing fee. We don't. Our rate on July 4th is the same as our rate on a Tuesday in March, for every Florham Park client.
  • Open 7am to 9pm. 365 days a year. Our Team is available!

We are there when you need it most. No need to check our availability or schedule! Whether its a same day appointment or vacation next year we can make it happen. Just simply book on our app and we’ll take care of the rest!

Florham Park Parks, Trails & Walking Routes We Know

Florham Park has more preserved open space than most people realize, and we use it every day:

  • Emmett Park — 111 Ridgedale Avenue, with access from Elm Street. Open lawns and walking paths in the center of town, perfect for midday commuter walks.
  • Spring Garden Lake — 70 East Madison Avenue. A 25-acre site built around a quiet lake, with a level loop that suits puppies and senior dogs.
  • Volunteer's Park — 41 Elm Street. The active park sits inside a quiet residential neighborhood, so it's an easy, low-traffic loop for short visits.
  • Fish Brook Park — 196–200 Brooklake Road. A former farm with open fields and a walking path, great for dogs who like room to sniff.
  • Traction Line Recreation Trail — A Morris County Park Commission rail trail running from Morristown toward Madison. Flat, shaded, and ideal for longer walks.
  • Loantaka Brook Reservation — Just over the line toward Madison. 850+ acres of paved and wooded trails we use for our 90-Minute Solo Trail Walks.

Whether your home is near the Brooklake Road neighborhoods, one of the townhome communities like Florham on the Fairways or Hearthwood Village, or the rentals along Columbia Turnpike, we have a team member who covers your street.
